Portland Open Go Tournament November 2003

Date: November 1-2, 2003

Time:

• 9 AM - 6 PM (Saturday) (a few may be playing past 6 PM)
• 9 AM - 4:30 PM (Sunday)

Where: Reed College, Vollum Lounge
Map: Vollum Hall is above the traffic circle in the center

What: 5 rounds of handicap Go, Ing rules, AGA rated

Cost: $25 if pre-registered, $35 at the door. (Pre-registered players may still pay at the door.) Current Reed students and those under 18 get in free.

And a reminder that everyone participating needs to be a current AGA member. You can pay an additional $10 at the door for a limited membership.

We have four prize divisions:

• open
• dan
• single digit kyu
• double digit kyu

Please pre-register -- it will make the process much easier. Pre-registration closes on October 27.

For more information on the open division, contact Bob O'Malley, who is generously assisting with the non-handicap division of the Portland Open.

To pre-register, please provide the following information:

• Your name
• Your rating (7 ku, 2 dan, etc. AGA rating if possible, otherwise estimate)
• AGA Membership status (current, lapsed, non-member -- you'll need an AGA membership for the tournament whether or not you pre-register.)
• If you need an AGA membership, you will also need to provide a mailing address.
